Consultation in the context of the development of an RSPG
Opinion on priorities and objectives for the Community in the World
Radiocommunication Conference 2007. The RSPG has decided to reopen the public consultation on this issue. It welcomes all interested parties to express their views, whether they are individuals, representatives of particular companies, associations or public entities which could be affected by the results of negotiations at WRC-07. Those interested parties having provided input before may wish to send in their updated positions. Extended deadline for responses until 22 October 2004. |

| 09 February 2004 - Public consultation on secondary
trading of rights to use radio spectrum To investigate the level of interest in secondary trading of rights to use radio spectrum as a tool for more flexible spectrum management, the European Commission has issued a request for opinion to the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG). The main objective of the request is to form an opinion on the potential benefits and drawbacks of secondary trading of spectrum for European Community policies and in particular the EC internal market; on the procedures and conditions to be addressed when introducing spectrum trading; and on the potential need for co-ordination among Member States regarding introduction of spectrum trading in order to avoid a fragmentation of the market for spectrum and wireless technologies.
